Four firearm-related charges have been laid by the Cochrane RCMP following an incident in downtown Cochrane on April 4.
Officers responded shortly after 1 p.m. to a call from Thomas Young, a security guard with Ten-8 Security on duty at The Station. RCMP officers immediately began patrols and quickly located the suspect.
A homemade zip gun was found during the arrest. No one was injured.

Julieus Mark, 37, of the Stoney Nakoda First Nation, has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unauthorized possession of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon, and carrying a concealed weapon.
Mark was held for a judicial interim release hearing and later released from custody to appear in the Alberta Court of Justice in Cochrane on April 29.
