The Mom Market is a Canada-wide platform that hosts pop-up markets from coast to coast. Each market is designed to provide an affordable opportunity for local and small businesses — including those that have been around for years — to showcase their products. Admission is free for attendees to come out and shop.

The Mom Market will be held at the Moose Jaw Exhibition Convention Centre this weekend (April 12 and 13) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

The concept for the Mom Market was started by a mom looking to support and connect small businesses — and the event isn’t just for moms. With a wide variety of vendors, there’s a little something for everyone.

Bethan Skuse, the Market Director for the Mom Market Saskatchewan, says more than 80 vendors will be on-site.

“We have everything from kids’ clothing to dollhouse furniture, home décor, women’s clothing, boutique shops, candles, bath and body products, permanent jewellery, piercings — and even tattoos this time!”

There will also be concessions on-site — and yes, even rescue puppies. For a list of vendors head over to their Facebook Event or website themommarketco.com
