With heavy hearts, the family of Janet Lucille (née Towalt) Lissel announce her passing on April 2, 2025.She was 83 years of age. Janet, the seventh of ten children born to August and Emilie Torwalt, entered the world on September 28, 1941, in Jansen, Saskatchewan. Janet met the love of her life, Donald Lissel of Leroy, Saskatchewan, and they were married on May 20, 1961. Together, they built a beautiful life, raising three children: Kerry, Denise, and Bryan. Janet and Don eventually moved back to Leroy, where they took over the family farm and worked tirelessly to support their family and community.
