Lisa McCullough has been interested in writing since she was a child. When she was in grade 6, a teacher complimented her on her writing ability and that was the encouragement she needed to continue with it. Poetry was where she started and then things just took off from there. Lisa worked with a couple local papers in Carlyle and Carnduff which kept her writing active and growing.
Reading was something Lisa always enjoyed, while rolling through books she decided, maybe it was time for her to try and get her story out into the public. She dedicated a full year to writing From Blood & Ruin, a novel that focuses on a woman who struggles with the possibility that she isn't human. The book is based on loss and rebounding while growing from it. There is also a little romance mixed into it as well just to add another angle.
