Members have a say: Prairie Sky Coop to host AGM next week

The Annual General Meeting for Prairie Sky Co-op will be held at the Weyburn Legion at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15th.

General Manager Kevin Arthur said they'll be sharing reports from management and the Board of Directors, as well as holding an election for the board of directors. 

"Anybody can attend the meeting and only members are able to vote. If you have a Coop membership, you get a vote," he explained. 

While some years the meeting includes bylaws and other things to cover, Arthur said this year, so far, the bulk of the meeting will be electing a new board of directors.

"We have our board meeting on Thursday night. So on Friday, probably, we should have some more details getting posted about [the election]."
