Friends, family, Swift Current residents, and more can head downtown later this week for the spring Moonlight Madness event.
Moonlight Madness is set for Thursday evening with some exciting in-store offers at downtown businesses, a chance to mingle, and later hours for extra shopping.
Kelsey Grose, owner of Farmer's Daughter Interiors & Design, noted that Farmer's Daughter will be set up for Moonlight Madness from around 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. or possibly longer, depending on how busy it is.
"We've done this event close to Christmas time each year, this is our spring edition of Moonlight Madness," she said. "Everybody's kind of doing what they want to do, but the businesses are open late, and we're hoping to see our community come out to enjoy a beautiful evening downtown."
Some businesses will offer sales, special events, and more on Thursday evening to celebrate Moonlight Madness.
"One of my favourite things about being a shop owner is just that connection with the community," Grose added. "We're always meeting new people that we maybe wouldn't have otherwise; there's always people from out of town popping in, and over time, you really do get to build that relationship."
