Uber Canada released its 9th annual Lost and Found Index on April 8, highlighting the most forgotten items left behind by Canadian riders over the past year.
The list also breaks down the top 10 most forgetful cities in Canada, with Red Deer ranking 6th. Surprisingly, Red Deer riders are leaving behind items more often than those in Toronto and Calgary, which ranked among the top 3 least forgetful cities.
The West Coast of Canada seems to be especially forgetful, with Lethbridge, Kelowna, and Victoria ranking as the most forgetful cities this year.
The index also lists the most commonly found items, such as wallets and phones. But it’s the unique items that make you question: how could you have forgotten that?
- Grandparents left in Vancouver
-
Stuffed sloth left in Edmonton
-
Euphonium (similar to a tuba) left in Vancouver
It also states that New Year's Day, Saturdays, and the 11 p.m. hour are the most common times for leaving something behind.
