The Sundre Flying Club is preparing to host a Fly-In, Drive-In Breakfast for Mother's Day on Sunday, May 11.
The event will run from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Sundre Airport.
The cost is $10 per plate. All pilots who fly in will receive a free breakfast.
"I would very much like to invite everyone to come down and partake in the breakfast. Hopefully, this will mean a few less mothers have to cook," said director Bruno Bradley.
The family event will feature breakfast, along with a classic car show, face painting, and bouncy castles for the kids.
"We're striving to bring younger families out and give the younger generation a glimpse into aviation and all the classic cars," Bradley added.
He notes past events have attracted around 800 people, including pilots from B.C. and Saskatchewan. Bradley hopes to welcome 1,000 guests this year.
The Sundre Flying Club has about 25 members.
