A new offer has led to the cancellation of tomorrow's rally at Hawthorne Optima Living.
AUPE officials announced the cancellation this afternoon after receiving the new offer.
Shawna Eagles, AUPE chapter chair, says that once it has been reviewed, the workers will decide whether to proceed with the rally on a future date.
Frustrated by the lack of progress in negotiations that began in the fall of 2023, the workers originally organized the rally for April 10.
