Rush forward Brock Haley is having himself quite the rookie season. Through 15 games played, he has recorded 16 goals and 24 assists.

The Saskatchewan Rush have 11 wins and 5 losses and are currently in second place in the NLL standings. Haley says part of the reason the team is so successful is because everyone has bought in.

“There’s a funny saying going around the locker room, ‘LTG,’ it just means ‘love this group.’ It holds true, everyone in that locker room loves all the guys and everyone who’s a part of the organization. It makes it more fun to show up on Saturdays and play.”

Haley was acquired by the Rush in November in a trade with the Vancouver Warriors and has made Saskatoon home for the duration of the season. In this week’s Rush Reach, Calum McAnally talked with Haley about his first season with the Rush and experiencing his first prairie winter. Listen to the conversation below.

There are only two games left for the Saskatchewan Rush before the playoffs begin. They travel to Colorado to face the Mammoth on Sunday, with the regular season finale happening Saturday, April 19, at SaskTel Centre. Get your tickets here.
