Blue Rodeo is now on a Canada Post stamp.

The longtime Canadian staple has toured extensively across the country, winning its way into the hearts of Canadians and music lovers around the world.

The Canadian country-rock-folk band have now been performing for 40 years, having formed in 1984 and first performing live in front of an audience in Toronto back in February of 1985.

Their debut album 'Outskirts' hit it big with the #1 hit 'Try', and they continued to release a dozen albums over the years filled with more hit songs such as '5 Days in May,' 'Lost Together', and 'Hasn't Hit Me Yet'.

The band has won multiple awards, including 12 Junos, a star on Canada's Walk of Fame, inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, and a Governor General's Performing Arts Award for Lifetime Artistic Achievement.

The stamp of the band was designed by Jim Ryce featuring photography by Luis Mora and illustration work by Katy Lemay. The flower illustrations were added from thegraphicsfairy.com.

All seven current members of the iconic band are featured on the stamp.
