Some scoring potential is joining the Swift Current Innovation Federal Credit Union Wildcats next season.
They've signed Swift Current's Laynee Rondeau along with Hayden Hilbig, Iralyn Calkins, and Jalaa Moore Jagow of the Western Prairie Thunder.
They were four of the top ten scorers in the Saskatchewan Female U15 AA Hockey League.
"Thrilled to get four of our U15 APs signed," said Wildcats Head Coach Terry Pavely. "They all had success scoring this year. When you put up good numbers, it helps us when looking at players that there is potential there to be an offensive player. Three of those kids were on a championship team, which I think is also a real benefit for us. That mentality of learning how to win, having tough games, learning to play under pressure is another valuable tool that they learned this year."
Rondeau had three goals and an assist in five playoff games as a call-up for the Wildcats this spring. She scored 40 goals and had 24 assists in 27 regular season U15 AA games.
Hilbig, Calkins, and Moore helped lead the Thunder to the Saskatchewan Female U15 AA championship.

Hilbig led the Thunder with 69 points in the regular season. Jago added 63, and Calkins put up 60.
They join a Swift Current roster that returns leading scorers Raela Packet and Dior Stringer next season.
"You add that to our returning kids, and we think we should be able to be a little bit more dangerous offensively," Pavely said. "They're all players who make plays and see the ice well. Being able to sign all four of them was a real good thing for our team moving forward."
The Wildcats averaged under three goals per game in each of the last two seasons. Before that, they had averaged over three goals per game in every season since 2015-16.
Swift Current finished fourth in the Saskatchewan Female U18 AAA Hockey League regular season standings. They lost to the eventual champions from Saskatoon in the semifinals.
The Wildcats are holding their annual spring camp on May 2nd and 3rd.
