This year’s Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign will support two local organizations focused on youth: the Estevan Early Years Family Resource Centre and the Estevan Public Youth Centre (EPYC). After placing seventh in national cookie sales last year and raising $46,832.50, the Estevan campaign is back with a new goal — to benefit children and teens across the community.
The 2025 campaign runs from April 28 to May 4 at both Estevan Tim Hortons locations. Funds raised will go toward programs and services offered by both centres. Misty Pennington from the Family Centre and Bonnie Chepil-Kvamme from EPYC joined the SUN 102 Morning Show to share more about the collaboration. You can listen to the full interview below.
As part of the Smile Cookie week, there are a few ways to get involved beyond purchasing cookies
Smile Cookie Colouring Contest
Kids and teens can get creative for a chance to win during this year’s Smile Cookie week. Colouring sheets will be available through both the Estevan Early Years Family Resource Centre and the Estevan Public Youth Centre, with age-specific categories and prizes.
Here's how it works:
Ages 0–11: Pick up a colouring sheet from the Family Centre.
Ages 12–17: Pick up a colouring sheet from EPYC.
Once finished, completed sheets must be dropped off at either Estevan Tim Hortons location between April 28 and May 4.
All entries will be entered to win a fun prize, with winners selected after Smile Cookie week.
Smile Cookie Photo Contest
To help spread the word and boost community engagement during Smile Cookie week, the Estevan Early Years Family Resource Centre and the Estevan Public Youth Centre are inviting everyone to share their best cookie moments. Whether you're buying, eating, or decorating your Smile Cookies, take a photo and post it to social media.
To enter:
Snap a photo with your Smile Cookies.
Post it to Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok between April 29 and May 5.
Tag @theepyc, @estevanfamilyresourcecentre, and @timhortons in your post.
Everyone who participates will be entered into a draw to win a $50 Tim Hortons gift card.
