Sundre RCMP are asking for your help in identifying those responsible for damaging election signs in and around Sundre. Between April. 9, 2025, and April 11, 2025, Sundre RCMP have received multiple reports of mischief to NDP candidate federal election signs. The mischief includes the spray painting of discriminatory slurs.
Damaging or stealing a candidate election sign is a criminal offence. Additionally, hate or biased motivated crimes could result in higher penalties during sentencing.
