It appears that the Lethbridge Hurricanes and Medicine Hat Tigers are on track to go head-to-head in the WHL Eastern Conference Final.

The Tigers are up two games to none on Prince Albert after a 5-4 win in overtime last night, while the Hurricanes took a two-games-to-none lead on Calgary with a 2-1 victory on Saturday. Former Warriors goalie Jackson Unger was the first star after stopping 33 of 34 shots in the nets.

The Montreal Canadiens are a win away from clinching a spot in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. They lead Columbus by three points for the final wild card spot in the Eastern Conference. Both teams have two games remaining. The Habs can clinch with a win over Chicago tonight.

The Calgary Flames kept their post-season hopes alive with a 5-2 win over the Sharks last night. The Edmonton Oilers have clinched a spot - they beat Winnipeg 4-1 yesterday.

The Toronto Maple Leafs beat Carolina 4-1 and Ottawa topped the Flyers 4-3 in overtime.

And the Blue Jays needed an extra inning to beat Baltimore 7-6 yesterday.
