A number of southwest residents are currently experiencing a planned power outage.
The outage began around 10:00 a.m. in the Town of Morse and is scheduled to last until 3:00 p.m. on Monday afternoon.
Scott McGregor, spokesperson for SaskPower, shared that the localized outage will affect around 30 customers.
"It looks like we're going to be replacing some old poles," he said. "Just to ensure we're maintaining system reliability in the area."
Odd-numbered houses on the 300-500 blocks of Morse's Brownlee Street will be affected, along with even-numbered houses on Main Street in Morse.
"Anyone who is impacted by this outage, we do appreciate their patience while we get this done," McGregor added.
