Cabri Minor Ball hosted its third annual plastic bat and ball fundraiser, featuring tacos, shopping, and a bouncy castle.

The fundraiser in years past has made between $9,000 and $6,000. This is the expected result for the Friday, Saturday combo that saw teams playing in the SWT Arena's cleared-out rink space.

Organizing the fundraiser was Cabri Minor Ball board member, Jade Telke.

"(The money) all goes back to minor ball for the upgrades out at the diamonds," said Telke. "Things like shale and toppers for the fences and dugouts."

Last year, they got all new backstops, and are trying to again this year to make sure the U11 kids have a good field to play on.

Aside from teams playing plastic bat and ball, the crowd enjoyed refreshments, tacos from the Taco Time food truck, vendor shopping, and a bouncy castle for the kids.

Telke encouraged anyone who wanted to participate, be that as a guest or as a ball team, to reach out to her.

"Just text or call me," said Telke.
