Estevan police responded to 47 calls for service over the weekend, ranging from disturbances to a vehicle fire and a reported hit and run.
EPS assisted Estevan Fire Rescue with a vehicle fire on a residential property in the south end of the city. No injuries were reported.
A hit and run was reported at a business in the northeast area of the city and remains under investigation.
Police received a call expressing concern about a dog left in a vehicle for an extended period of time. The vehicle had left the area before officers arrived.
A male wanted in another jurisdiction was located, arrested and released with a new court date.
EPS responded to a disturbance between two parties. Officers mediated the situation and both individuals were sent on their way.
Police were dispatched to a report of an aggressive, intoxicated female in the central area of the city. She required medical attention and was transported to hospital by EMS.
A report was received of vehicles driving erratically on the north side of the city. The vehicle had left the area by the time police arrived.
Police checked an unsecured building, conducted a search for occupants, and re-secured it.
Police also received a complaint about a female who appeared to be in distress. Officers spoke with her, and while she was not in distress, she thanked the community for their concern.
A report was also received about youths on the roof of a building. Members attended and located the youth. The matter remains under investigation.
