A brush fire in Diamond Valley on Monday evening is believed to have been started by local teens.
The fire broke out in a wooded area near Robert Street on Monday, April 14, with Diamond Valley Fire Rescue responding at around 5:30 p.m.
According to the fire department, witnesses reported seeing teens running away from the area.
A similar fire was reported in the same area in June of last year, with callers also reporting seeing youths playing in the area.
Diamond Valley Fire Rescue is asking local parents to have a conversation with their kids about the dangers of playing with fire, especially considering the conditions we've been seeing in the last few weeks.
