The Social Bowl wrapped up their adult recreation league season with a tournament on Saturday.

They had 22 teams, and it was a packed house all day.

"Today is one of my favorite days of the year," said owner Teagan Gader. "We have so many people come out and support the bowling alley it's awesome."

The Social Bowl has seen a spike in interest from southwest Saskatchewan.

"We started the beer league with 24 teams," Gader said. "We've grown it to 32 teams. Everyone has a great time. There are lots of prizes and lots of money handed out."

With a lot of support from sponsorship to players and spectators, the tournament day is a nice boost for the owners.

"Honestly my family is so grateful," Gader said. "Everyone here is a friend of mine. They're great with my children. It's just a great day."

The winning team was Speedy Creek Yard and Maintenance with David, Rylan, Ryan and Devin taking home the trophy.

Tyson Coward won the men's season high single score, while Greg Dahl won men's high triple score and best season average.

Jessica Joel won ladies high average, while Hester Van Breda won ladies season high triple score and season high single score.

A team put together by Swift Current Online staff went winless in five games. This reporter passes all the blame on to my teammates!
