Airdrie RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a sexual assault that took place nearly a year ago.
According to police, the female victim had accepted a ride home from the Main Street Beer and BBQ restaurant around 3 a.m. on June 1, 2024.
The male suspect diverted to Nose Creek Park, where the assault occurred.
The victim was able to escape and fled to the 7-11 in the Luxstone neighbourhood.

Surveillance footage captured images of both the suspect and his vehicle, believed to be a dark blue or black Tesla Model Y or Model 3.
The suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion, approximately 5’10” tall, wearing a red turban, a black and grey Tommy Hilfiger zip-up jacket, blue jeans, and white or grey shoes with three black stripes.
