More specific events responded to by WPS officers include an incident last Monday, where police received a report of an unwanted guest at a home. Police presence prompted the unwanted person to leave the residence independently, resulting in no charges being laid.
The Wednesday after saw the WPS responding to reports of storage lockers broken in to. Evidence was seized that was relevant to the investigation, which is still ongoing. Charges are pending, anyone with information that may pertain to the incident is asked to contact the WPS.
The final notable event listed is a call regarding a domestic disturbance on Sunday. Police attended the scene and determined an assault occurred at a local apartment residence. A 43-year-old woman was arrested on the scene and charged with assault. She was released on conditions for the protection of the victim.
