The Town of Didsbury has temporarily shut down its bulk water station after a large truck struck an overhead pipe, removing the roof supports.

The closure began Monday, April 21, and will remain in effect until repairs are completed.

"It appears a large truck has hit the pipe, removing the supports from the roof," the town said in a public notice posted to social media. No injuries were reported.

The town has not provided a timeline for reopening but said further updates will be shared once the damage is assessed and fixed.
