Lane closures this week for utility and maintenance work

Drivers in Cochrane should prepare for temporary lane closures throughout the week due to utility inspections and maintenance work.

The Town of Cochrane announced on a Facebook post that from April 22 to 24, lanes on Centre Avenue and First Street East will be closed for underground utility inspections.

Businesses in the area will remain accessible during this time.

On April 23, traffic on the Highway 22 bridge over the CPKC tracks will be reduced to a single alternating lane from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The closure is needed for sandblasting work on the bridge structure.

Motorists are asked to plan for potential delays and follow posted signage.
