Gelico Gymnastics is thrilled to announce the impressive results of the athletes who participated in the Queen City Competition, held April 11-13 in Regina. The gymnasts demonstrated remarkable talent, determination, and sportsmanship, making us incredibly proud of their performances. In Level 1, the young gymnasts stole the show, with Avery Jones clinching a Gold medal. At the same time, Khadija Zangwio, Georgia Anderson, Bridget Daga-as, Isla Korven, Keala Davis, Presley Schwab, Taletta Harms, Winnie Targerson, Ivy Walker, Natalie Casselman, Alexandria Bushenlonga, and Ellawyn Blackmore all earned Silver medals. Celeste Van Breda, Lylah Squires, and Abigail Willett rounded out the competition with Bronze medals, showcasing the depth of talent within the club.
Moving to Level 2, Lily Garland, Aria Klimkiewicz, Harper Fontaine, Kaitlyn Myers, Kali Thoreson, and Rhiah Silbernagel each brought home Silver medals, while Brexley Polowy and Tori Mackay proudly earned Bronze.
In the Level 3 category, Luxin Lee showcased impressive skills, finishing with scores that placed her firmly in the competitive mix. Kira Busse also performed commendably in her category, demonstrating great potential for future competitions. The Xcel division saw the athletes excel as well. Berkley Braun and Leya Hunter shined in the Xcel GOLD category, securing positions on the podium. Paityn Reimer, Mackenna Striker, and Kaidence Fifield also demonstrated remarkable abilities across their events, bringing home additional accolades.
In Xcel Platinum, Kayden Meyer showcased consistency in performance, while Ashlynn Meyer brought home a solid finish in the Xcel Diamond category.
