As the warmth of spring settles in and April showers promise a season full of blossoms, we’ve been busy gathering your adorable entries for this month’s Perfect Pet Contest! With tails wagging, paws prancing, and whiskers twitching, your pets have truly brought the spirit of the season to life. After a month of incredible submissions, we’re thrilled to celebrate your beloved companions — and soon, one lucky pet owner will be taking home $100 in gift cards from All Creatures and Rodeo Dawg! Here are the submissions for April.
Zoey
This is Zoey, our Pomeranian. Zoey is all grown up now and a puff ball but looking back you can see she is full of herself, just look at the happy little face. Zoey has a permanent place in our hearts and home.
Trixie
Trixie is a cute tabby cat that we adopted from the Estevan Humaine Society. She loves to cuddle and play. Everyday around 10pm she gets a big burst of energy and loves to play. In the mornings at about 6am she always comes into my room and puts her paw on my face because she’s letting me know she’s ready for her breakfast lol. We love our cat! :)
Toby
We adopted Toby from the Humane Society in March of 2024 when he was about 5 months old, he is now almost 2 years old. Toby is a very sweet and curious cat, he loves playing fetch with elastic hair bands, getting into mischief, playing/ bugging his big brother Steve ( our other cat ), snuggling with his Dad or big sister and also getting a massage with a hand held massage wand lol! Toby completed our family and helped heal our hearts after our sweet fur baby Diego passed away December 12/2023.
Lola
Lola is a 3 year old miniature pincher. She came to us from Texas where she was at a kill shelter and a Toronto rescue group brought her to Canada. When we brought her home she was terrified of everything. Now her little personality is fierce and she constantly keeps us on our toes! She is quite goofy and provides a ton of laughter to our family. Lola can be found snuggled on the couch most days and loves to be near us at all times. She truly has no understanding of personal space!!
Siggi
He is a curious little bird and loves to keep the whole family entertained.
Psycho
Psycho is back again to try and win the Perfect Pet Contest with his quirky personality. He loves going outside to climb the trees and bring us dead things. He also loves human food but who can say no to that face?
