A woman whom the Weyburn RCMP detachment asked the public to help locate was arrested.
Forty-year-old Anja Sarty appeared in Weyburn Provincial Court Tuesday morning, facing a number of charges that stem back over two years. The charges include fraud, forgery, theft, breaching conditions imposed by the court, and failure to appear in court. In all, there are 12 charges.
The Weyburn RCMP issued a release Monday asking for the public’s assistance in locating Sarty. During her court appearance on Tuesday in Weyburn, the Crown opposed her release.
