The Medicine Hat Tigers will look to book their spot in the WHL championship series tonight, needing just one more win to eliminate the Lethbridge Hurricanes.

The Tigers took a 3-0 stranglehold on the best-of-seven series with a wild 8-7 overtime victory on Tuesday night in Lethbridge. The back-and-forth affair saw both teams trade leads before Medicine Hat emerged on top with a goal at 2:41 in the extra frame.

Cochrane product Kadon McCann contributed to the high-scoring effort of the Tabbies.
