The Edmonton Oilers have a 3-2 series lead and they're coming home with a chance to clinch. The Oilers came from behind last night and beat the Kings in LA 3-1. Game 6 is set for Edmonton's Rogers Place tomorrow night.

In other Stanley Cup playoff action, the Ottawa Senators shutout Toronto 4-0. The Maple Leafs lead in that series is now 3-2.

The Carolina Hurricanes have advanced, beating New Jersey 5-4 in overtime, taking that series 4 games to 1.

And former Moose Jaw Warrior Brett Howden scored his 3rd of the playoffs in overtime as the Vegas Golden Knights topped Minnesota 3-2, taking a 3-2 lead in that series.

The Medicine Hat Tigers are one win away from advancing to the Western Hockey League's championship final. They came back from a 3- nothing deficit and beat Lethbridge 7-6 in overtime, taking a 3 games to none lead in the Eastern Conference final.

And the Boston Red Sox blasted the Blue Jays 10-2 last night.

And the CFL draft went 8 rounds with 72 players being selected last night. The Saskatchewan Roughriders added 7 players including defensive lineman Ali Saad out of Bowling Green State and they're taking a shot at landing quarterback Kurtis Rourke in the future. 

The Riders picked him in the 3rd round, 25th overall. Rourke will first take a shot with the San Francisco 49ers after they took him in the NFL draft last week.
