The SOLE-stice Classic Regional Track and Field Meet is back on Sunday June 1 at Glenn Hall Park. The meet is designed to engage young athletes in track and field sports in the hopes that a newfound interest will spark further participation in the associated sports.

The grass roots meet includes running, jumping and throwing competitions. The term SOLE-stice comes from the idea that the final meet will be held close to the summer solstice, the longest day of the year.

The competition emphasizes fun rather than all out competition. There are three age classifications for the entrants to participate in:

  • Meteors (Born 2016 - 2017)

  • Comets (Born 2014 - 2015)

  • Stars (Born 2012 – 2013)
