Saskatchewan hunters hoping to have some big game meat in their freezers by winter can apply as of today for the 2025 Big Game Draw, with limited opportunities to hunt mule deer, elk, moose, and pronghorn across the province.
"The Big Game Draw is your opportunity to experience Saskatchewan's world-class hunting firsthand," said Environment Minister Travis Keisig. "We want every hunter to have a fair chance at success and that starts with applying early and being prepared."
Applications must be submitted online through the Hunting, Angling, and Trapping License (HAL) system by 4 p.m. on May 29th, 2025. As there are no extensions and no exceptions, hunters are advised to log into their HAL account early, using the online residency verification tool.

Draw results will be posted in mid-June with pronghorn results available in mid-July. Email notices will be sent, but each hunter must check their results through their HAL account.
If drawn, licenses will be available to purchase starting August 1st through the HAL system.
