The Cochrane & District Chamber of Commerce is putting the final touches on its biggest event of the year, the Annual Trade Show, happening this weekend at Spray Lake Sawmills Centre.
Spanning two arenas, the event promises a packed lineup of local vendors, entertainment, prizes, and fun for all ages.
Executive Director Jennifer Wanner says the show is more than a business expo, it’s a community celebration.
“This event has a really exciting vibe,” says Wanner. “We’re filling both the curling rink and Totem 1 with local businesses, entertainment, and interactive activities for the whole family.”
Attendees can expect a Kids Fun Zone, a money tunnel game with chances to win prizes, and an entertainment stage featuring family games.
There’s also a long list of giveaways, including weekend passes to Bow Valley Boot Stomp, a $600 fire pit from Coulee Outdoor, and even a home security system. Many vendors will also have their own prize draws.

Admission is just $3 per person, and kids 12 and under get in free. Best of all, the Chamber is using this year’s admission proceeds to fund three scholarships, one for each Cochrane high school.
With vendors ranging from home renovation and outdoor living to clothing and cosmetics, Wanner says the show truly offers “something for everyone” — and a great reason to shop local.
