Alright, buckle up, Swift Current! Get ready for roaring engines, gravity-defying stunts, and the ground-shaking return of Monster Trucks!

After a decade-long absence, the thunderous excitement of monster truck mayhem is set to explode back into Swift Current this summer, thanks to Performance Promotions! For the uninitiated, Rob Waloschuk, the seasoned President of Performance Promotions with nearly 38 years under his belt, is the driving force behind bringing these colossal metal beasts to arenas across Canada, including major stops in Saskatoon, Regina, and even smaller centers like Medicine Hat. Now, he's turning his attention to reignite the passion for monster trucks in Swift Current.

"Monster trucks have really developed since the last time it was there," Waloschuk explains. Forget just crushing cars – although there will be plenty of that satisfying destruction! Today's shows are a showcase of incredible skill, with drivers maneuvering these massive machines onto two wheels with the finesse of a seasoned cyclist. Swift Current is in for a "really first-rate show" packed with adrenaline-pumping action they haven't witnessed before.

So, why Swift Current after all this time? Waloschuk points to the enthusiasm of the local community and the pivotal partnership with Akhlut Automotive. "When Akhlut Automotive approached us and said, 'Hey, can you bring this show back to Swift Current? We'll help you out,' we said, 'Sure, let's make it happen!'" This collaboration has officially put Swift Current back on the monster truck map.

For those who've never experienced the sheer energy of a live monster truck event, prepare to be blown away. "Always high energy," Waloschuk emphasizes. "We'll sell you the seat, but you'll only need the edge!" Expect a family-friendly spectacle where kids go wild for the roaring engines and car-crushing action, while adults marvel at the engineering and skill on display. It's loud, it's dirty, and it's an unforgettable experience for all ages.

Get ready to witness some incredible metal warriors! Waloschuk teases the arrival of brand-new trucks like "Crude Behaviour" and "Roughneck," alongside some East Coast contenders making their Swift Current debut. But the excitement doesn't stop there! Prepare to be amazed by the "Mini Monsters" – quarter-scale trucks driven by young guns, including a phenomenal 14-year-old driver who handles his mini machine like a seasoned pro.

But the thrills start even before the main event! Fans can get up close and personal with the monster trucks and even take a ride in one during the pre-show Monster Truck Rides. And for a truly immersive experience, the pit party is absolutely FREE with your ticket! Arrive early when the doors open an hour and a half before showtime to meet the drivers, grab autographs, and snap photos with these mechanical marvels. Plus, as Waloschuk slyly adds, "get in on the best merch too!"

This isn't just a show; it's a boost for the local economy. Waloschuk highlights how these events draw in crowds from surrounding areas, benefiting local restaurants, hotels, and businesses. "It really helps the community business-wise," he notes, echoing the sentiment of their partner, Akhlut Automotive.

For first-time attendees, Waloschuk has some pro tips: "Come early for the pit party and a monster truck ride! It's gonna be loud, so bring ear protection if you're sensitive, or grab some custom ear protection at the event. And definitely hit the merchandise booth early!"

When asked about his personal favourite part of the show, Waloschuk doesn't hesitate: "Freestyle! Watching those guys go out there and perform with those trucks, showing their skills and getting massive air – it's just incredible." He even hints at the possibility of a bus joining the car-crushing lineup!

Behind the scenes, a dedicated crew works tirelessly to keep these mechanical beasts roaring. "A lot of people don't realize this is almost like NASCAR," Waloschuk explains. "You might see a truck break down, but you're almost guaranteed to see it back out there before the show's over. These guys are working non-stop in the pits to keep the action going."

As the engines fall silent at the end of the night, Waloschuk hopes fans leave with one resounding thought: "That was awesome! That was totally awesome!" Seeing the smiles on people's faces is what makes it all worthwhile.

Don't miss out on this thunderous return! Tickets are available online at https://outlawsofmotorsports.ca/, where you can print your tickets at home. For those who prefer to hold their tickets, you can purchase them in person at Akhlut Automotive. But remember Waloschuk's crucial advice: "Get your tickets early! The grandstand seating is limited, and the afternoon show usually sells out very quickly!"

Get ready, Swift Current, to unleash the beast! This summer is about to get a whole lot louder and a whole lot more exciting!
