Miami Fire and Rescue was called out Friday afternoon around 12:20pm to a reported grass and structure fire northeast of town.

According to a social media post, when crews arrived they acted quickly, but with how dry things are currently the small shed was a loss and was later torn down to be fully extinguished.

"Thank you to Rosebank colony for providing extra water, and to the home owners for making food/drinks to keep us going," stated the post. "Always appreciated!"

The department also issued a reminder to area residents.

"Please remember that conditions are extremely dry out there, and to refrain from burning during at this time."
