As of 11:43 a.m., the Saskatchewan RCMP is reporting that all phone services have been restored for detachments around the province.
The Saskatchewan RCMP is sending out a notice to communities that their telephone services in detachments are currently experiencing issues.
Emergency services through 911 are not affected. When a person calls the RCMP Detachment phone number, they may hear a busy signal.
As the situation continues, the RCMP advises people to call 911 in an emergency and to call 310-RCMP to report non-emergency situations.
For any administrative calls, they ask that people refrain from calling 911 or 310-RCMP if their matter isn't urgent in nature.
The Saskatchewan RCMP currently do not have an estimated time for the restoration of phone service. Once that has been restored, they will provide an update.
