This Thursday, May 8th, McDonald's restaurants in Winkler and Morden will once again participate in McHappy Day, a nationwide initiative supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Canada. No matter what you order at McDonald's on Thursday, a portion of proceeds from every menu item sold—whether in-restaurant, at the drive-thru, or through McDelivery—will benefit RMHC Manitoba, which provides accommodations, meals, and support to families with children with complex medical needs.

In 2024, the Winkler and Morden McDonald's locations raised nearly $10,000 for RMHC Manitoba during McHappy Day, thanks to the generous support of the community.
RMHC Manitoba operates two core programs: the Ronald McDonald House and the Ronald McDonald Family Room, both of which offer a home-away-from-home for families during challenging times.

Contribute by purchasing your favorite McDonald's items on May 8th or by rounding up your order to the nearest dollar, (or more), with the additional amount going directly to RMHC Manitoba. Every contribution helps ensure that families can stay close to their hospitalized children, focusing on what matters most—their child's health.
Many families from right here in the Pembina Valley continue to rely on Ronald McDonald House Manitoba while their children receive medical care in Winnipeg. Your support on McHappy Day helps ensure those families have a warm, supportive place to stay—close to the care their child needs and surrounded by the comforts of home.
