Estevan streets being closed as work gets underway

The City of Estevan is announcing some new construction work taking place on the city's roads.

Beginning today, the 1200 block of 2nd Street, between 12th Avenue and 13th Avenue, will be closed for sewer replacement. This includes the closure of the north sidewalk. That closure will remain in place until construction is complete.

Tomorrow, the intersection of 4th Street and 13th Avenue will also be closed in both directions for approximately 2 days to allow for electrical work as part of the Downtown Revitalization Project.

Drivers are advised to use 14th Avenue to 5th Street to 12th Avenue as an alternate route.

The city thanked everyone for their patience and cooperation as work continues.
