The highway has reopened.

Highway 17 east of Kenora is down to one lane following a tractor-trailer going into the ditch. Police are on scene and it is unknown at this time when the highway will be fully open.
Motorists are asked to drive according to conditions as there is a freezing drizzle advisory in effect.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery. Freezing drizzle can produce thin, hard-to-detect layers of ice. Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas.
Highways in Northwestern Ontario are reported as slick and snow-covered and those who don't need to travel for necessary reasons are asked to stay put.
