Arrest Warrant

On May 6th at 7:48AM Police located and arrested a 33-year-old male in the 200 block of 8th Street on the strength of his Warrant for Arrest (Breach of Probation.) He was released via Appearance Notice with a court date of June 5th, 2025.

 

On May 6th at 12:25PM Police located and arrested a 34-year-old male in the 800 block of McTavish Avenue on the strength of his Warrant for Arrest (Breach of Probation and Failure to Attend Court). The male was released via Appearance Notice with a court date of June 5th, 2025.

 

Theft Under $5000

On April 30th, 2025, an employee from a business in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue reported a shoplifter who had left with $80-$100 in merchandise. Security footage assisted in identifying the 37-year-old female.  On May 6th at approximately 4:30PM the female was located by Police and charged in the 300 block of 9th Street. She was released via Undertaking with a court date of July 14th, 2025.

 

Structure Fire

On May 6th at 5:09PM 911 advised of a fire in the 400 block of 11th Street of which BPS attended alongside Brandon Fire and Emergency Services. The fire was believed to be inside the walls. There were no reported injuries and minor damage sustained.

 

Breach of Peace

On May 6th at 10:46AM it was reported that a male was acting aggressive towards customers at a store in the Corral Centre and was refusing to leave. The male was located by Police picking up and throwing large landscaping rocks near 18th Street. The male was arrested and held in detention cells to prevent the escalation of his behavior.

 

Breach of Peace

On May 7th at 2:36AM hospital staff reported a 32-year-old male who was brought in by EMS and causing issues. The male was acting aggressively and not letting hospital staff assist or treat him. Police members attended. The male was held detention cells and will be released once sober.
