Community support has been overflowing for the Reimer family, who are grieving the loss of Josh Reimer, a beloved husband, father, teacher and coach killed in a car crash.
A devoted father of two daughters, Reimer was remembered as a blessing to everyone he met. His wife, Shanyn, is expecting their third child in July.
In a Facebook post by Rimbey Christian School, Reimer was described as dedicated teacher with the kindest soul, always quick to lend a hand, lift a spirit or share a laugh. His faith guided every part of his life, and he touched more hearts than anyone will ever fully realize.
Taryn Sparrow, the cousin to Reimer’s wife started a GoFundMe immediately after the crash, but didn’t expect it to go viral.
“My heart was bursting for her that so many people were wanting to help her,” said Sparrow.
“Money can't take away the pain, I know she would give up every dollar to have Josh back, but it certainly does help with little kids and family and everything.”
As of now, nearly $180,000 has been raised to support the Reimer family.
