Southeast College has been busy over the last few weeks, informing those interested in the college and providing information on the courses they offer. They held their 50th anniversary career fair and open house at the end of April and are getting ready for an information night later this month.
In partnership with the Weyburn Public Library, Southeast College is hosting an Info Night on May 22nd, allowing those interested in the college the opportunity to ask questions and inquire before making their post-secondary decisions for this fall. Jaycee Mantei, coordinator of student recruitment and engagement with Southeast College, explains.
“I'm excited to announce that I'll be at the Weyburn library on May 22nd at 6:30 PM to give a presentation about the college and the full-time programs that we're offering this fall. So, if anyone has any questions about our programs or even just wants to learn more about the college, this would be a great opportunity to come and connect.”
For those who were unable to attend the open house on April 30th, this is a great opportunity to learn a little bit more about Southeast College and decide if it’s right for them. Mantei states there was a good turnout for the open house, and this information night is a great follow-up.
“I know we got lots of community involvement and the people that did come took a lot away from it so yeah, if there's anyone that wasn't able to make it, this is just another opportunity to come and learn more about the college.”
Taking place at the Weyburn Public Library on May 22nd starting at 6:30 P.M. For more details and how to register, call the Public Library at 306-842-4352.
