Child luring charges laid against Weyburn man

The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit laid charges against a Weyburn man for child exploitation offences.

The Saskatchewan ICE Unit commenced an online investigation in February 2024 related to child luring. On July 17 of last year, they executed a search warrant on a Weyburn home. Electronic devices were examined and seized by investigators. 

Resulting from the investigation, 45-year-old Robert Brydon was charged with four counts of luring a child last Friday. 

Brydon appeared in court that day and was released on conditions. He will appear again in Weyburn Provincial Court on June 24.
