Residents of Waverley Heights are waking up in the dark Wednesday morning.
An outage in the area has left nearly 2500 customers without power.
It is not only affecting businesses and homes in the area, but also street and traffic lights. Traffic lights along Waverley Street from Scurfield Boulevard to Bison Drive are currently not working. Anyone travelling around the area is asked to use caution.
It is unclear what has caused the power outage.
Crews are working to fix the problem, and there is no word as to when power will be restored.
