During Monday’s Humboldt City Council’s Executive Meeting, the monthly Protective Services report was discussed.

With the snow melting in April, that led to more people outside moving around and according to the Community Safety Officer’s report, more traffic complaints.

There have been several complaints regarding vehicles located at Water Ridge Park until 2-3 am.

Also, with the nice weather the number of complaints of quad and dirt bike usage within the city have been on the rise.

Inside the Police report, the number of incidents in April (174) was up compared to the month of March (111). Traffic charges saw a steady increase from April (38) compared to March (9).

For the Fire Department, in April they responded to three incidents, (1 fire alarm response, 1 structure fire, 1 Motor Vehicle Collision).
