Step into the past: Cochrane museum opens for the season

The Cochrane Historical Museum is set to open for the 2025 season this weekend, offering visitors a chance to explore the community’s rich past.

Operated by the Cochrane Historical & Archival Preservation Society (CHAPS), the museum highlights the town’s agricultural roots and local heritage through interactive exhibits and rare artifacts.

Located at 94 AB-1A in Cochrane, the museum will be open from May 17 to September 1, welcoming guests Wednesday through Sunday, including holiday Mondays.

Admission is free, and families are encouraged to drop in for an educational and engaging outing.
