Manitoba's five-day test positivity rate continues to hover above five per cent.
There are 172 new COVID-19 cases in Manitoba as of Thursday morning. Out of the new cases, 89 people are not vaccinated, 74 people are fully vaccinated, and nine people are partially vaccinated.
New cases by health region include:
- 65 in Southern
- 48 in Winnipeg
- 27 in Northern
- 18 in Interkale-Eastern
- 14 in Prairie Mountain
This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases to 68,166. The province says 65,486 people have recovered.
Manitoba's five-day test rate is 5.1 per cent.
Deaths and hospitalizations
There are three more deaths, bringing the total to 1,324 COVID-19 deaths.
In hospital, there are 147 people, with 92 of those people having active cases. Out of the active cases, 49 people are not vaccinated, 39 peopel are fully vaccinated, and four people are partially vaccianted.
In intensive care, there are 24 people, 16 of which have active cases. All but one of the active cases are people who are not vaccinated; the other patient is fully vaccinated.
