The Holy Family Roman Catholic Separate School Division announced on Friday morning a new staffing addition for the next school year.

Mr. Tyson O'Dell will be joining the HFRCSSD as Vice Principal at St. Michael School in Weyburn, officially commencing on August 25th. O'Dell has served as one of the Vice Principals at Legacy Park Elementary School in Weyburn for the past four years.

"Mr. O'Dell comes to our division with a wealth of experience in the classroom as well as at the administration level," the division said in a press release.

"Known for his deep commitment to student success, Mr. O’Dell is a passionate advocate for supporting the most vulnerable learners. Beyond his educational leadership, Tyson is actively involved in the community through coaching and refereeing, and he enjoys sharing his love of music, especially the guitar, with students."

LPES has advised the parents of the change, noting the replacement for his position will be announced upon being filled.

Stated in the release, "We would like to take this opportunity to thank Tyson for the last four years at Legacy Park Elementary School. He has been an integral part of the admin team at LPES and was instrumental in opening our school. During the past four years he has helped build our school community and his passion and dedication to our students and staff will be greatly missed."

The school wished him all the best in his new position.

"The students and staff of LPES will look forward to finishing the rest of the school year with Mr. O and will cherish the last weeks we will all have together at Legacy Park Elementary School."
