If you bought a vehicle at House of Cars in April, you also supported Bike Cochrane.
For the second year, the car dealership earmarked funds from each vehicle sold that month to Cochrane's thriving cycling nonprofit organization.
Robert Martens, Bike Cochrane president Robert Martens says the $1,000 donation will go a long way in supporting their many programs in the community.
"We truly appreciate the continued support for all the programs that we do for kids, women's programs, and cycling in general. We're a not-for-profit, and we depend upon donations and grants, so kudos to House of Cars."
Giving back to the community has been a priority since House of Cars established its Cochrane location.
"It's been fantastic to give back to the community that's been so accepting of us since we've been here," says Nik Klassen, general manager of House of Cars. "We were met with a warm welcome when we first opened for sponsoring different events and giving back to groups that we can, and love the opportunity to do so."
Bike Cochrane continued to advocate for the cycling community and is well on the way to meet, if not exceed, its membership of over 1,000 last season
