Intoxicated man found in Winkler resident's garage

On May 5, Winkler police responded to a report of an unknown man inside a garage at a residence on Main Street South. The suspect fled on foot before officers arrived but was quickly located near the intersection of Pembina Avenue and 2nd Street. 

Police arrested the man for Break and Enter and noted he was highly intoxicated at the time. However, the homeowner chose not to press charges. The suspect was released once sober and issued a $672 ticket for Trespassing.
