The pitch at Mitford Park will be buzzing with activity on Saturday, May 31, for the annual Club Day of the Bow Valley Rugby Club (BVRC), with players from minis to adults hitting the field to celebrate their shared passion for the sport.

BVRC president Anthony Battistone encourages the community to come out and see what makes rugby so special.

“It’s a big day of rugby, and then we’ll have a raffle, the kids will get a barbecue, and there’ll be some food trucks,” he said. “It’s a great way to bring the club and the community together at Mitford and have a great time enjoying rugby.”

Play kicks off at 10 a.m., with the U13B team taking on the Calgary Rams/Canucks. The U5/U7 players will scrimmage between games.
